Please join us for the last event in the three-part Hill series:
“Advancing Maternal, Newborn, and Child Survival.”
Wednesday, June 1
2:30 – 3:45 pm
Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room 562
Refreshments will be served.
Girls are among the most marginalized and vulnerable, and reaching our shared goal of ending preventable maternal, newborn and child deaths within a generation will require international and national commitments. To fully address gender inequality, local ownership and accountability at all levels of government is required to reach every last girl with the services and resources she needs to survive and thrive.
Building on the momentum of the Women Deliver 4th Global Conference in Copenhagen, join us for a panel discussion that will bring the timely issue of building political will and ensuring accountability for reaching girls to Capitol Hill.
Co-hosted by US Senator Susan Collins
