WHAT
MCSP invites you to a Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) pre-conference half day workshop: Mobilizing Innovation to Eliminate Global Health Disparities. This satellite session will set the backdrop for achieving the global health agenda and advancing universal access to healthcare through an innovations lens, focusing on mitigating systemic barriers to quality care experienced by vulnerable and underserved populations.
Speakers from MCSP and other key implementing partners will guide participants through an introduction to innovation for global development by characterizing the nature of innovations for improving health equity in low- and middle-income countries. Speakers will highlight innovations that span the Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health spectrum and provide examples of how innovations are leading the charge towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
