The Essential Care for Every Baby (ECEB) Africa Regional Workshop provided an opportunity for dialogue with select countries implementing Helping Babies Breathe at scale on the potential use of the ECEB learning materials to strengthen current newborn health programs and to develop a larger regional pool of ECEB master trainers and champions. In total, 85 participants
attended, including six ECEB trainers from the Africa region and country teams from 11 countries: Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda,
Zambia and Zimbabwe.
